World-renowned percussionist Lisa Pegher takes part in a residency with students of the UCLA Composition area culminating in a concert of their works specially composed for and performed by Lisa. Also on the program will be the premiere of "Lacrimae Angeli," written by the co-chair of the UCLA Composition area, Richard Danielpour. Professor Danielpour is the Susan G. Covel and Mitchel D. Covel, M.D., Chair in Music (2021–2024)
