Founders, investors, and potential startup employees alike need to understand whether a startup company has the ability to succeed. Join this conversation with UCLA Founders and Investors to understand how to evaluate startup opportunities effectively. This panel will explore topics, such as evaluating a startup's market opportunity, product positioning, quality of team and investors, and future potential. For entrepreneurs, hear from Bruin founders who have navigated building a product, getting customers, raising different funding rounds and what they did to achieve success. For those interested in working at a startup, hear honest perspectives from Bruins who have built their teams and companies from the ground up as well as investors who have evaluated, invested in, and supported many companies.
Panel includes: Ed Tsai, Managing Partner at Westwood Ventures Trish Halamandaris, Director, UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator Joshua Lee, CEO of Ardius (acquired by Gusto).
This program is made possible by our UCLA Alumni Association Sustaining Donors and the generous financial support of Alumni Ventures and Westwood Ventures.
