Leslie Rith-Najarian

Leslie Rith-Najarian received her BA in Psychology from Harvard University and is currently completing her clinical internship at UCLA Counseling & Psychological Services as a part of her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Leslie has received national and local fellowships, grants, and awards, including winning the UC-Wide Grad Slam competition for her research focused on engaging young people in mental health programming. For her dissertation, she developed an online program for reducing anxiety and depression in university students, which was delivered to thousands of students at UCLA and other campuses in the U.S. and Mexico. Leslie also has provided therapy, supervision, assessment, and crisis intervention services through the UCLA Depression Grand Challenge, UCLA Addictions Lab, North Hollywood High School, UCLA TIES for Families, and UCLA Psychology department clinic. In the fall, she will be returning to the Harvard Psychology Department as a postdoctoral fellow to collaborate on the development of an early intervention program for adolescents who have experienced trauma.
