Biography: 

Ricky Koo is a seasoned corporate executive, bold entrepreneur, and a passionate speaker and writer. He has a background in psychology from UCLA and started his career as a certified public accountant before becoming a finance leader at numerous Fortune 500 companies across banking, financial services and technology industries. Further, he leveraged his experience in the corporate world and built a successful business as a certified leadership and communication coach focused on empowering people to be more confident and seen in their careers, while being their authentic selves. He is also an instructor for UC Berkeley Extension's Leadership and Management program, where he teaches courses on negotiation, influence and communication.

Koo’s strong instincts as a business leader are apparent through his years of success in leading people through challenging environments while developing and fostering strong cultures. As a coach and teacher, his unique style and expertise in leadership and communication shine through as he blends science and real-world experience to drive the most meaningful outcomes for his clients and students.
