Scavenger Hunt - Bruins Around the World
The Bruins Around the World scavenger hunt is live! From now until Monday, June 1 at 9 a.m. PDT, you can join in the fun and show off your Bruin Pride by submitting your responses using the "Submit Here" buttons below.
The competition is open to all alumni and community members who have contributed their time as volunteers for the UCLA Alumni Association. Prizes, including gift cards, will be awarded to top point earners, with additional recognition opportunities for creative and "above and beyond" submissions.
Please note: You can only submit each week's form ONCE, so please prepare your items in advance so you can submit them all at once!

You may submit the forms below any time between Friday, May 8th at 9 a.m. PDT and Monday, June 1st at 9 a.m. PDT.
*If you submit a form by the priority points deadline, you will receive 1 bonus point per item submitted.
You can also earn up to 15 bonus points (5 per post) by sharing your challenge item submissions on social media with the hashtags #BruinScavHunt26 and #BruinsWorldwide

Week 1: Bruin Nostalgia
Priority Points Deadline: May 15, 2026
- A photo of you from your first year on campus. 5 points
- A photo of you from your last year on campus. 5 points
- Describe your proudest moment as a student at UCLA. 5 points
- Share a photo of yourself with your most sentimental Bruin memorabilia (i.e. your registration/Bruin card, your commencement program, etc.) and the story of why it’s meaningful to you. 5 points
- A photo of yourself with your community at UCLA (i.e. your residence floor, sorority/fraternity, student organization, colleagues at work-study, etc.). 5 points
- What was your favorite class and why has it stayed with you? 5 points
- Then and now: your graduation photo next to a recent one of yourself. 5 points
- A photo with whoever got you to UCLA: a parent, a teacher, a coach, a friend who told you to apply. 5 points
- Which professor made the greatest impact on your life, and what did they teach you beyond the classroom? 5 points
- Photo of you at a favorite spot on campus, with a one-sentence caption about what you love(d) about it. 5 points

Week 2: A Day in the Life of a Bruin
Priority Points Deadline: May 22, 2026
- Photo of you in Bruin gear doing something routine this week (i.e., morning coffee, school pickup, dog walk, farmers market, etc.). 5 points
- Film 20 to 30 seconds of your work/school environment with a voiceover: what you do, and how UCLA helped you do it. 10 points
- What’s your current favorite recipe? Share it with us! 5 points
- Photo of you in Bruin gear at a landmark in your city/town. What is the name of the landmark? 5 points
- What is one piece of advice you would give a fellow Bruin visiting your city? 5 points
- List your top 3 favorite places to eat in your city. 5 bonus points if at least one of them is Bruin-owned. 5 points
- Find another alum you didn't know before UCLA and do one of the following:
- Photograph yourselves together wherever you both are now. 5 points
- Film a 30-second intro: names, class years, how you met, where you are now. 10 points.
- Re-create your first photo together, then & now. 10 points
- Story of? Prompt: What would be your “Story of”? Why? Include examples. Upload a photo of yourself that could be used for a “Story of” image. 10 points
- A photo of Wooden’s Pyramid of Success on your wall. 5 points
- What is one lesson from UCLA that still guides you today? 5 points

Week 3: Show Your Bruin Spirit
Priority Points Deadline: May 29, 2026
- Photo: Your kid(s) and/or your pet(s) in Bruin gear. 5 points
- Show us your stash (of Bruin gear/swag) - take a photo of yourself with all the Bruin swag you own. 5 points
- Photo of you volunteering at a UCLA event or program. 5 points
- Photo with any family member who also went to UCLA: parent, grandparent, sibling, child, cousin, anyone;
- OR You with a teacher/student, mentor/mentee, or a Bruin who you're currently training/learning from. 5 points
- Photo of your watch party setup wherever you are in the world - 1 bonus bonus if it’s with other Bruins! 5 points
- Video: Do the 8-clap with as many people as you can at once. More people = more points! 10-20 points
- Photo: Do fours up. Bonus points if you use a different person for each finger (1 point per person). 5 points
- Photo or video: Show us your drawing of Joe or Josie Bruin. 5-10 points
- Video: Record yourself reciting the alma mater. It’s okay if you mess up in the recording - just keep going and have fun with it! 10 points
- Photo of yourself at a Bruin-owned business, or with a product created by a Bruin-owned business (doesn’t have to be current). 10 points
