The service period begins Sept. 24, 2012 – May 20, 2013. You must complete 30 service hours to renew your scholarship.
- UCLA Service may be completed by volunteering for the Alumni Association. Leadership in the Alumni Scholars Club and Student Alumni Association are included.
- Also, may be completed through any UCLA department, service organization or club. Can not be done for pay or for course credit.
- Los Angeles Community Service may be completed through a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization for up to 20 hours. Volunteer hours proselytizing religious and partisan political groups are not eligible. The service must be unpaid, charitable and take place within Los Angeles County. Additional documentation required.
