The Center for Academic Advising in the College supports students’ academic, personal, and professional growth at UCLA. Through individualized advising and programs, CAAC helps students navigate their academic journey and maximize their engagement both in and beyond the classroom.

The First To Go program supports first-generation college students at UCLA by connecting them to campus resources, building community, and promoting academic success. Open to all first-gen Bruins, the program celebrates their journey and fosters belonging and visibility on campus.
First Year Experience (FYE): https://firstyearexperience.ucla.edu/
The First Year Experience program supports new Bruins in their transition to UCLA by connecting them with academic resources, social opportunities, and wellness tools. FYE helps first-year students build community, find support, and make the most of their UCLA experience from day one.
