In the spirit of UCLA’s Jackie Robinson, say goodbye to winter and hello to Spring Training in Arizona. Experience the fun and excitement of Angels and Padres baseball with an up-close and personal visit to Major League Baseball’s pre-season. Former UCLA Baseball Coach Gary Adams ’62, M.S. ’64, hosts a weekend that combines history, private tours and priority seats to two games. This is an amazing opportunity for baseball fans to get an inside perspective on America’s national pastime.

Gary Adams ’62, M.S. ’64

Former UCLA Baseball Coach

Former UCLA baseball coach Gary Adams received his master's degree from UCLA in 1964 after playing varsity baseball for the Bruins from 1959-1962 where he was the captain, leading hitter and Most Valuable Player his senior year. He coached college baseball for 41 years (30 years as the Head Baseball Coach at UCLA). Adams retired in 2004 as the winningest baseball coach in UCLA’s history. At the time of his retirement, Adams was second in collegiate baseball history for sending the most players to the major leagues. He was inducted into the prestigious American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2005, the UCLA Hall of Fame in 2011 and was named "Bruin of the Year" in 2012.
