This session will examine the unique and nuanced challenges around staff burnout from the pandemic on leaders of non-profit organizations dedicated to servicing their communities’ mental health and wellness.

  • Strategies and resources used to address these needs

  • Ways to help and support within an organization and from the outside
  • Resources and initiatives that incorporate staff feedback to mitigate pressures

Protecting Your Peace featuring Diana Winston (Virtual)

Emotional labor impacts our personal and professional health. This closing session will recap the summit and provide a space for our attendees to be in community. The session will also feature Diana Winston, Director of UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC), who will discuss the science behind mindfulness and practices to consider. This session includes a guided meditation and an opportunity to connect and reflect on the conference with other attendees.
