2017 She's in the C-Suite

Seeking movers, shakers, inspirers, mentors, creators, innovators, risk-takers, dreamers—Bruins who are leading the way for not only themselves but for other women. The 2017 She's in the C-Suite panel during HERstory month, featured four Bruins in executive leadership positions addressing timely and timeless issues related to what it means to be a woman in a leadership position, from dealing with sexism in the workplace, to supporting women, to the risks and sacrifices that are involved in their journeys.

2015 TEDXUCLAWomen

In May 2015, Diversity Programs launched TEDXUCLAWomen, where 150 alumnae gathered for a mini-conference themed “Momentum.” TEDXUCLAWomen speakers included Cari Champion ’98, on air personality for ESPN First Take, Jenn Hirsch ’02, chief enthusiast officer for MarkedPoint, Ann Wang ’13 and Jessica Willison ’13, co-founders of Enrou and was emceed by Christine N. Simmons ’98, president and chief operating office of the L.A. Sparks.
