Student-Initiated Admit Weekends – Virtual Experiences
Due to the growing concern regarding COVID-19 and in consideration of the health of our extended UCLA family, Bruin Day and the Admit Weekend Programs will be shifting to a virtual experience. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Diversity Programs support various student-led, yield admit weekends, where students organize multi-day programs to recruit admitted students. These programs provide admitted students with a holistic view of UCLA and its supportive community as it relates to their identity. Admitted students spend time with faculty, staff and current students while attending a weekend of fun activities, workshops and other community building events to gain a better understanding of what the Bruin experience entails.
Alumni play important roles during these programs by helping to answer student questions, provide insight and experience as well as serve as a guiding resource and example of success for various underrepresented communities here at UCLA.
