In honor of the 14th annual UCLA Volunteer Day, the Central Valley Network will volunteer with Beautify Fresno, a city-wide effort to clean our neighborhoods, streets and highways.
Join Bruins and community volunteers as we cleanup the area of Leavenworth Elementary School. Volunteers will be helping pick up trash and debris and performing other tasks as needed. Safety vests, paper pickers, gloves, and trash bags, along with pre-packaged snacks and bottled water will be provided.
Following the event, we will head to Quail State (https://quailstatefresno.com/) for brunch. Guests are responsible for covering the cost of what they order at the restaurant.
Volunteers are asked to meet at Leavenworth Elementary School beginning at 8:45 a.m., to check in and for a brief orientation.
All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form (https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/Leavenworth/) prior to participating in this event. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them.
