Meet the Panelists

Bill Benson '87, LMFT, LPCC, is a licensed psychotherapist, conflict resolution counselor and career clarity/negotiation coach. Benson pioneered The Mental Gym, a Los Angeles-based private practice specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy and positive psychology. He draws on 25 years of clinical knowledge and experience, helping individuals and teams strengthen communication, enhance contribution and increase productivity. 

Jessica Sanam Hekmat, MBA '10, is a brand strategist and business consultant, working with entrepreneurs, start-ups and businesses to articulate and manifest their purpose. She partners with individuals and organizations seeking clarity and impact, to find and tell their story. Individuals exploring a career shift or a potential business idea work with Hekmat to evaluate their goals, explore potential paths and create an action plan to ensure successful work-life integration.

Emily Taylor, MBA '08, brings first-hand experience of the hiring process from the employer’s side and the selection process from a top business school career center. For 20 years, she has empowered clients — from early career to C-suite executives across the globe — to identify the right career path or pivot, based on their intrinsic interests and strengths. Taylor helps them achieve their career goals through résumés and LinkedIn profiles that highlight their transferable skills, strategic networking that gains internal referrals and polished interview delivery that lands offers.

Dana Taylor Old, MBA '10, PCC is a relatable, engaging, business-savvy coach and facilitator. Her deep leadership, coaching and facilitation expertise is matched with a seasoned corporate background to maximize impact for high-profile clients across verticals. She is passionate about coaching teams and individuals to improve communication and dialogue, and elevate outcomes. Old prides herself on an approachable and authentic nature, and commits to bringing dynamism, humor and professionalism to every engagement.
