The Classroom

UCLA Alumni Affairs presents an unparalleled opportunity: The Classroom — a transformative, career-empowering course tailored exclusively for recent UCLA graduates embarking on fresh career paths.

Instructor Amy Rueda, a 25-year veteran of executive search, brings her wealth of experience and knowledge to the Classroom.

The Classroom - Class of 2026: Coach Wooden's Pyramid Playbook

You Don’t Just Graduate from UCLA — You Inherit It

This is not a typical career course — this is a standard.

At UCLA, more than 145,000 students applied for admission. Fewer than 10% were selected. This course reminds our graduates what that means — and challenges them to live up to it.

This 10-week experience prepares graduating seniors to transition from the classroom to the workplace with clarity, discipline and confidence. Grounded in the philosophy of Coach John Wooden and his Pyramid of Success, students learn not only how to secure a job, but how to build a meaningful and enduring career.
