The UCLA Pacific Islander Alumni Association aims to create a network of alumni that promotes the formation of professional, academic and social relationships. We strive to strengthen connections between our alumni and community leaders and members, as well as the schools, churches and organizations serving Pacific Islanders. We also aim to increase opportunities and connections for Pacific Islander alumni through our connection to UCLA.

We are not a reincarnation of UCLA’s PISA. However, one of our goals is to support current Pacific Islander students at UCLA in their studies and retention, career exploration and Pacific Islander-related events. Our association will serve as a means of mentorship and creating relationships with current UCLA students. In fostering such relationships, we will help raise up the next generation of leaders and professionals within our community.

Who can join the association? The association was created with UCLA Pacific Islander alumni in mind, regardless of past participation in PISA. However, the Association is also open to non-Pacific Islander, UCLA alumni and allies who have supported or currently support our community.

Why should you join the association? Members of the association have access to our directory of members, job listings, and mentorship opportunities. Members are also welcome to join us at our networking, professional, and social events.
