President
Committee Description:
Responsible for maintaining cohesion and efficacy within the club's Executive Board. Throughout the academic year, the President conducts weekly board meetings, holds regular office hours for all Alumni Scholars, and represents the interests and values of ASC as a sitting member of the Alumni Association Executive Board. In order to maintain administrative efficiency, as well as to consistently serve the needs of all scholars through diverse programming, the President makes sure ASC's E-board works as a team. The President also oversees a small committee of Presidential Associates who are highly committed to the excellence and standards of the Alumni Scholars club, and are experienced members who have served as committee coordinators in the past.

Vice-President
Committee Description:
In charge of fundraising for ASC's "Bucks for Bruins" scholarship fund and creating a platform for students to appreciate UCLA's educators. Fundraising for the Bucks for Bruins scholarship fund is primarily accomplished through the Winter Quarterly Silent Auction, in which both students and alumni are invited to come bid. The VP Committee promotes education by overseeing the nomination process and execution of the My Last Lecture event, a historic UCLA tradition that rewards the very best lecturers on campus.

Alumni Mentor Program
Committee Description:
Serves as a bridge between the club and the Alumni Mentor Program, a campus-wide program designed to cultivate a close community of Bruins through mentorship. The committee oversees the pairing of alumni mentors and student mentees via an online application process, hosts a number of networking events throughout the school year to facilitate interactions, and maintains communication with students and alumni to ensure excellence in every aspect of the program.

Alumni Relations
Committee Description:
Aims to strengthen the bond between past and present students by providing the resources, platforms, and opportunities to form meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships. The committee shines a deserved spotlight on successful, philanthropic alumni through the Alumni of the Month award. Through beginning and end of year celebrations, interactive pre-professional workshops, and inspirational panels that promote discussion, the Alumni Relations Committee builds the foundation for alumni and scholars to learn from each other and foster a sense of community for all Bruins.

External Campus Volunteers
Committee Description:
Aims to extend the impact of Alumni Scholars through community service work in the local Los Angeles area. Students in the committee organize outreach events dedicated to growing and bettering L.A. Year-long events include working in partnership with the Los Angeles Teen Mentoring program, which allows undergraduate students to act as mentors in nearby middle schools. Smaller events have included participating in local food banks, creating a play space for children living in a veterans housing facility, and implementing classroom beautification projects. Overall, ECV upholds the Alumni Scholars Club vision "to fully embrace service, leadership, and community."

Internal Campus Volunteers
Committee Description:
In charge of volunteering opportunities within the UCLA community. Its members plan rewarding volunteer events for Alumni Scholars to connect with their campus community. ICV interacts with many organizations and groups on campus, collaborating on service projects and connecting Alumni Scholars to these opportunities to volunteer. In addition, it also organizes the annual UCLA Locks of Love hair drive. ICV works to better the UCLA community while also providing Alumni Scholars with a way to give back.

Outreach
Committee Description:
Works to recruit future Bruins not just to UCLA but into the folds of the ASC family. During fall quarter, the Outreach director sets up the Peer-to-Peer mentorship program which helps to connect current ASC students with incoming scholars in order to help them feel welcome on the UCLA campus! However, Spring quarter we put on our biggest event of the year, National Finals and Welcome Day, where we invite all of the incoming students to experience what UCLA is like for a weekend and hopefully convince them to join the Bruin Family!

Academic Enrichment
Committee Description:
Provides a myriad of resources and fosters a community of encouragement and collaboration to assist all ASC scholars in their academic pursuits. The Academic Enrichment committee hosts programs for all students including the Tutoring Program, Notes/Test Bank, as well as various events specifically for transfer students. Additionally, they work with other committees to implement pre-professional workshops. At the end of the year, they host The Scholar Report, an event similar to Ted Talks, in which our very own ASC scholars will be presenting about their current/recent research. The Academic Enrichment Committee is always looking to further help all ASC scholars, so if there are any events you would like to see in the future, please don't hesitate to let them know!

Bunche
Committee Description:
Gives remembrance for one of UCLA's most notable alumnus, Ralph J. Bunche and honors some of ASC's unique membership. The committee aids our club's most in need scholars by providing them with resources in order to flourish during their time at UCLA. By producing alumni networking, workshops for first generation and minority students, and opportunities for cultural and self-expression, the Bunche Committee aims to highlight the diversity within ASC.

Leadership Development
Committee Description:
Responsible for all events within the Leadership Development Program, which includes exclusive resources, networking opportunities, and career-focused events to help Alumni Scholars build their professional repertoires. The LDP committee aims to help Scholars develop skills and connections to land internships, jobs, leadership positions, and more.

Scholar Relations
Committee Description:
Acts as the liaison between the Alumni Scholars Club and its current scholars. It coordinates with other committees to facilitate academic enrichment, new student orientation, and social interaction among peers. The core events hosted by this committee are Quarterlies, Zero Week social/orientation events, and study sessions. As the appointed social catalyst of the club, committee members are obliged to promote scholar involvement through the medium of conversation, enthusiasm, and creativity.

Finance
Committee Description:
Works behind-the-scenes to support the other committees of the Alumni Scholars Club by securing necessary funding for programming. The Finance Committee works hand-in-hand with various on-campus funding sources as well as internally with the Alumni Association to obtain the maximum amount of funding for events. The Finance Committee, while unseen by many, serves a vital role in helping ASC function effectively.

Marketing
Committee Description:
Utilizes multiple social media platforms and marketing strategies to communicate ASC's vision and events to scholars. By interacting with all of the other ASC committees, they help promote volunteering, social, and networking opportunities. This year, the committee will strive to create a stronger sense of community among scholars through an Instagram revival and the use of new platforms such as Discord. This includes fostering a more personable, casual, and welcoming social media presence. The Marketing Committee aims to be powerfully engaging and easily accessible, to all ASC scholars. The Committee will also be planning and executing their own events or projects this year as well, including a marketing pre-professional workshop. The ASC Marketing Committee will also be collaborating with Student Alumni Association and their Media/Marketing team to cross-market Alumni Association student organization events throughout the year.
