Corporate Fundraising and Scholarship Funds

Introduction

Our vision is to be the premier alumni organization of UCLA that uplifts Latino Bruin achievement and celebrates our diverse and ever-evolving comunidad. Since 1989, our organization has provided opportunities for scholarships to students as well as social and networking opportunities to our members. Our board members are based in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. As we continue to expand, we are reimagining what it means to give back and engage students and alumni in ways that we haven’t before.

We are eager to meet with you to demonstrate how partnering with us can help ULAA achieve its mission while also presenting a unique set of opportunities for your organization. A partnership with ULAA can take many forms and help leading organizations like yours achieve a global reach with our alumni network across continents, receive prominent exposure at our events, reach an exceptional Latino community talent base, connect with a growing population across the USA, and so much more!

By partnering with the ULAA, your company would be joining leading companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Google, just to name a few, that are supporting the educational and professional journeys of one of the fastest growing demographics. We look forward to engaging with you soon to explore all that our organizations can do together!

Why Does Your Gift Matter?

As a volunteer board, our vision is to partner with campus to raise $100,000 annually in current-use scholarship funds in order to award $5,000 scholarships to 20 students annually by 2027. In addition, we aim to reach a $1,000,000 endowment by 2027.

To help advance equity and inclusion and become a place where all students thrive, UCLA has set the bold and attainable goal of achieving federal recognition as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) by 2025.

Our 2022–2023 board approved a four-year scholarship distribution plan to award approximately $125,000 to students who need financial support for their education.

Most recently, we’ve received support from two very generous families who have established two new endowments under the UCLA Latino Alumni Association:

These funds will provide additional scholarships to deserving students.
